The scientific secretary of the 14th International Congress of Endoscopic and Minimally Invasive Surgery in Iran announced the latest surgeries in Tehran's oldest hospital and said: Today, many countries have abandoned open and invasive methods, and fortunately, Iran has also started its activities in this field and

has seen progress.

According to the public relations report of Sinai Hospital, Dr. Mohammad Talebpour, stated: This congress will be held from December 14 to 16 of this year at Sina Hospital in Tehran, with the presence of Iranian and international professors and experts from neighboring countries, Europe and America. The latest scientific achievements in the field of minimally invasive surgeries will be presented and discussed.

He added: 100 presenters from different cities in various fields such as gynecology, urology, otolaryngology, radiology, neurosurgeons, vascular surgeons, gastroenterologists and nurses will participate in this congress and exchanged information on the latest medical findings. Iran's minimally invasive and internal surgeries are discussed.

The scientific secretary of the 14th International Congress of Endoscopic and Minimally Invasive Surgery in Iran continued: Sina Hospital is one of the oldest hospitals in the capital with a history of 150 years, and the newest surgical methods are supposed to be presented in the oldest hospital, and fortunately, many companies have participated in cooperation despite the existing problems. The reality of the current environment shows that despite the difficulties, there was a kind of self-confidence among colleagues to walk the scientific paths with each other's help.

Dr. Talebpour mentioned: Minimally invasive surgeries can be used in all fields, and the most common types of these surgeries done on gallbladder or in the stomach to remove obesity, as well as colon surgery and in the field of gynecology to remove ovarian cysts. Removal of the uterus (hysterectomy) is used to treat endometriosis, and it is also used in urological diseases such as kidney, prostate and ureteral problems, and even surgery for pituitary tumors, eye sockets, and orthopedics.

This general surgery specialist and laparoscopic surgery subspecialist reminded: Today, many vascular surgeries and vascular injuries are performed even as an emergency within a few minutes through minimally invasive surgeries in the country, including Sinai Hospital, and in the field of radiology, these applicable surgeries are as follows: Guided sonography or CT scan and many surgeries are performed through endoscopy and colonoscopy, which have replaced open and invasive surgeries today.
